Surgery Date at OHSU Dr. Wolfe Info

I am so excited I have a date and it only took 2 weeks from my approval letter from insurance to meet with my surgeon and my surgery is exactly 4 weeks after thaty on Sep. 13th 2007.  I have Dr. Wolfe and he is awsome.  He is in charge of all the WLS studies for the entire nation and OHSU built their entire Health and Healing addition around him.  He also told me that his new data set to be released for 2007 in 2008 shows him as having a fatality rate of only 3 in 1,000 and his practice is only in WLS he dose not practice any other kind of surgery or anyting.  He has also been doing surgeries since 1983 when it was unheard of.  I think Dr. Wolfe is awsome and recommend him to anyone he is a little curt with his bedside manner but he is the best of the best. S

I had a revision surgery July 13th with Dr. Wolfe.  He saved my life.  He is the best.  I just saw him on Monday for my check up.    You're in great hands.  Good luck with your surgery.

The team at OHSU is the best!  I'm in three of those research studies.  I enjoy participating.  OHSU has a very low fatality rate and all the docs are wonderful.  I had Dr. Robert O'Rourke.  He is also mostly "all business", but he is kind and came to see me three or four times during the 2.25 days I was in the hospital.  I am very appreciative of the excellent job he did with my surgery.
