8 Months Out - New Pics

I am now out 8 months  and down 140 pounds!  Woo Hoo...I've posted some photos in my profile from my 20 year class reunion this past weekend.

Thank you Linda.  I'm thrilled and so happy that I made the decision to have WLS.  I am enjoying life for the first time in many years :).

By the way, how are you feeling?  I think at about a month out was the worst for me.  Hope all is well with you :).

I'm doing great!  I definitely have to be careful about what I eat and I have to make sure to chew, chew, chew, but I'm really feeling well! Linda

Thank you!  Don't tell anyone, but the dress was a $3 garage sale find LOL.  I love garage sales especially going through the clothes so fast, but this dress was a great find and fit me perfectly!

Wow! You look fantabulous!  It was really helpful to see your pictures documenting your journey.  I am almost 2mos out and down 37lbs.  I had complications arise last week and hand to go in for an endoscopy and then be stretched.  I'm now able to eat.  I am very impatient, it seems, and think that this weight should be falling off me faster but I know that everyone is different too.  Congratulations, again, on your success!

Hi Leslie, Thanks so much for the compliments. Don't be impatient, everyone is totally different and you are losing which is the goal right?   I've been lucky (knock on wood) and haven't had any complications.  It was hard enough without any problems, I can only image how you are feeling.  Keep your chin up and follow your program, it will all be good :).
