Portland Lap-Band Support Group

Are there any portland lap-band support groups out there? I'm looking for one on a smaller scale - not the huge hospital meetings. Anyone interested in starting one with me? Chrissy

Hi,  Im not sure which side of Portland you are on but I have one in McMinnville we are meeting on the 8th if you can Come let me know I'll send directions. I also post the meeting on the Oregon Site. Congratulations on your band !  Gail

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is a support group in the Astoria area? I'm not scheduled for my lap-band yet, but am getting close.

Yes, there is a Portland Lap Band Support Group...................... Go into the Yahoo.com (groups) and join and then go to OregonBandsterSupport..................it's an on-line group, but we also meet about once a month either in our homes or sometimes in restaurtants!  There is actually a meeting on Sunday, the 26th of August.   If you'd like or need more info you can e-mail me at  [email protected].
