Stall so soon??????
I am 7 weeks out. I've lost a total of 31lbs post and pre surgery. I dropped a lot the first two weeks and then it just seems to have slowed down to a stand still or small crawl. Is this normal?????? I have been exercising every day with a 20min fast walk on the tredmil. I'm not eating anything I'm not suppose to and don't eat a lot of food. Am I doing something wrong??? I am very frustrated.
Yes Leslie - this is VERY normal. Your body needs time to adjust. Actually, you have the ancient ice-age ancestor in your head saying, "hey, wait a minute! We're starving and winter is a mere 5 months away! We'd better hold onto this insulation, or we're going to be in major trouble!" Just think -- we would have been the survivors in the Ice Age!! Give it some time, don't over-do with your walks, and you will eventually see the scale move again.

Absolutely normal! I went through it and it would seem everyone else has gone through it as well.
My advice is don't step on the scale everyday-once a week at most! Otherwise you will just go crazy with all the ups and downs that happen. I have gotten to the point of only weighing myself once every 3 weeks because of how I lose weight. I would lose in the first few days..then GAIN 2-3 lbs--play with those 2-3 pounds for a couple weeks then drop about 5-6lbs overnight(it would seem. lol)
This is how it happens..and just as the above poster said (which made me laugh btw!) is so very true. Your body is just trying to figure out what the heck is going on and is going to fight tooth and nail to hold on to that weight until it just can't fight anymore. But it WILL drop off. Don't worry.
Good luck to you! :)
