Can anyone tell me what PCOS is ?

Reading glamor magzine posting on Star Jones surgery, some had said she and her daughter both had the surgery, but her daughter suffer PCOS is looking for a Plastic Surgery,  I am new to the site and yes I got it off that other site.    I am in the process of getting test and a date set for my surgery.  I wiegh in at 317 now, over 47 bmi, I want and need this surgery.   I would like to know if anyone in oregon know of any support group for gastric bypass.  The doctor suggest I find one to attend before surgery a couple times. I live in Coos Bay, Area
