Hi Carolee!  I'm doing really well, but a bit weak today.  My fever is gone -- I think it may just be low blood sugar.  I got some 100% grape juice to add to my water, and I think it's helping.  I am prone to be a bit hypoglycemic every now and then.  For pictures, tickers, etc., go up to the right under the search box where it says Forums.  Click on that and select the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass forum.  Then, over in the box at the left, click on message board.  The Tutorials on how to do all the cool stuff will be the first or second message on that board. Linda, welcome to the loser's bench! I'm glad you are home and doing better.  It's always the roughest in the beginning.  Each day should be better.  So glad you made it through without any terrible complications.  Now the fun begins, watching the scale move DOWN!

Hi Kim!  I am feeling better and better each day.  Walking a little farther every day.  It really tires me out, but in the long run, I do think it's helping me to build my strength back.  At least, each time I get out there, I'm sure I can go just a few more blocks! I generally have to come in the door and lie down for a while, but then I seem to have a little more energy when I get up.  My pain is minimal -- actually, my back injury, and subsequent fight with the hospital bed from H-E-double hockey sticks is much more painful.  I'll have to tell you all the story of my hospital stay and how desperately they tried to kill me someday.  I guess those insurance companies train the nurses for the early release program!!
