I have a friend who had him, she loves him. My only concern is she is 4 years post-op gaining some back and he ishanding her phentermine like candy. That is scary.

yes, but I went on a drug site, they said you can take it 3 times a day, but following doctors orders. I was told that you can gain wieght back, or lose less than the goal.  Sometime it the type of food we eat, stress and other things in our lifes.  Maybe he feels she need the higher dose.  I do know he is one of the best surgeons in this field in this area.  I have had people tell me he saved them or members of thier family.   I spent a lot of time up in the intentive care units up in bay area, when my husband was battling for his life, I surely miss him too.  I just heard so much about Dr Tersigni  being a great surgeon, I do not know him personally.  I work in hospital all my life and you can tell when someone is really please with a doctor.

I  went to Legacy Good Samaritan Obesity Institute in Portland.  I had Doctor Jan, who was trained by Doctor Emma Patterson, who is the head of the obesity institute.  He is very good!!  My surgery went so well.  I have been home a week, and cannot believe how well I have been feeling.  Good Luck in your search.  Rhonda
