BARIATRIC DR'S (MAYBE PORTLAND) & WA MEDICAID

Debbie, what are you doing up at this hour?   Your advocate sounds like she is right on top of this one.  Maybe you shouldn't even consider using that Dr for anything.  I know that you will do whatever is best for you, but I question the ability too.  OK so we wait another 4 weeks.  I'll be doing it with you too.  Don't give up.  There are plenty of GOOD drs out there who know what this is really all about. (((ha ha ha)))  Well, I am a night owl, but I have been looking up stuff like obesity linked to migraines and the new medicine I am on for migraines.  Plus, I will be signing off here soon as I will be getting my hubby's lunch ready for work here soon.  He has to get up at 4:15 AM.  And you???  What are you doing up???  just kidding...ha ha ha. The doctor that I am talking about, actually works for the state.  Everything my doctor submitted to the state went to him and he looks through it all and denied me.  So I can't change him.  Or his mind unfortunitely, but now it is up to the judge.  But he will have to appear by phone and I am sure a attorney for the state medicaid department.  My advocate and I appear in person and than my own doctor will be appearing by phone on my behalf. I don't plan on giving up, but I have to admit, I do get awful discuraged at times.  Chat at ya again soon.  I have to go get Dan's lunch made and finish up here on the net.  Than off for some sleep for me for awhile. Thanks Nancy, you put a smile on my face already this morning and I don't do mornings well.  Ha ha

So Nancy, am I seeing this right?  Did you have your surgery 10 days ago on the 21 of July?  Wow!  Congratulations.  How do you feel? 

OK...I have stayed up WAY TO LATE tonight... It has been a year for you now...that is still great!  And how is everything for you after a year now?  Well, Happy Anniversary Nancy!

Not sure if this will help, as I don't have Medicare or Medicaid, but I went through Dr Emma Patterson, she operates out of the Oregon Obesity Clinic at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital she also operates out at Southwest Washington Medical Center (where I had my surgery). Hope this helps.
