leakage with Bipass

Does anyone know of someone that had the leakage? Did they survive? I heard the surgery to correct is difficult. Thanks Carol

Carol - it's only difficult if they can't find where things are leaking.  I've not known anyone who had it, but I've read a lot about it.  I'd recommend you read Weight Loss Surgery:  A Lighter Look at a Heavy Subject by Terry Simpson, MD.  He doesn't pull any punches.  Lays out all the problems that could occur, but tells you that they don't occur all that often.
