where in Oregon are you?  Kaiser permanente has one in Clackamus on the last Saturday of the month, you don't have to be a member to attend. Peggy

The local bariatric surgery group only allows their patients to attend their support sessions, but we do have an informal group that meets about once a month.  The woman who usually organizes it just moved to a new home though, so she has been super busy.  She will probably post when there is to be another.  Just keep your eyes here.  There are lots of us here in Eugene.  Welcome to the area. HI  I am also here from CA-in Eugene. We will probably have another informal support group soon. I was just talking to Kim about it. When we do, you will see it posted on the Oregon site. Until then contact me anytime, about anything.  Welcome, to the new kid on the block! Nancy ps I also have a list of names and phone numbers for people in the "informal" support group. If you'd like it pls send me a message.

Hello there and welcome.  I am the one who normally sponsors the support group gatherings here in the Eugene/Springfield area.  We would love for you to come to the next one .. not quite sure when it is going to be yet.  I will probably be posting in the next several days when I can figure it out.  We also have a clothing exchange too.   How far out are you?  What type of surgery did you have?  It is great to "meet" you.  Welcome to OH and to Eugene.  You'll love it here.  I also moved here from California.  I lived in the central valley -- right between Fresno and Modesto.
