sore throat

I was banded on friday the 13th. I have a sore throat and upon waking cough up a little blood. Has anyone experienced this? I have a cpap with a humidifier. but am unable to sleep more than two hours at a time and wake with a really dry mouth. I miss sleeping on my stomache.

A sore throat is really normal.  Coughing up blood is not.  I would contact the on-call surgeon where you had your procedure ASAP.  It may be nothing but it's important to let the surgeon know you are bleeding. Tammy
