Thanks, We're off to Portland in the morning.  I'll write when I am able to.  And, since we now know we can use our laptops, hopefully that will be soon.

Wish me luck!  I'm looking forward to a whole new life.

Hi Linda,  For the first time in years, I'm actually enjoying the summer! The heat isn't bothering me and my feet and legs don't swell at all any more. It seems I'm always doing stuff now-working in the yard, swimming, walking the dog, running errands, working on house projects, etc. Yesterday I took the day off and ran errands all day, then came home and canned 5 batches of jam, with berries I picked myself on Sauvie Island! I keep asking myself, who is this active person? I'm down 77 lbs. and can't believe the amount of energy I have. I'm so excited for you to also be on the "losing" side. Your date is coming up so soon suddenly-woo hoo! If there is a gathering this month, I will do my best to attend-I haven't met any of you in person yet, and would love to! Take care, Lisa

Hi Linda, I'm just being lazy here at home.  I start back to work this coming Monday.  Everything is going well. I have lost 57 lbs counting my pre-surgery weight loss (25 of them since surgery on 6/20).  Just cleaned out my closet of my largest sized clothing and passed them along to the cousin of a friend.  Fortunately, I have some clothes stored from when I had lost weight on a previous diet and am now wearing them.  It was a wonderful feeling to see those clothes go out the door. It is still surprising to me how little it takes to fill me up.  At this rate I should save a fortune on grocery bills. Your date will be here soon. Take care, Shirley

Shriley,  so glad you are doing well.  Good luck going back to work.  Take it easy when ya do.  Keep up the good work and enjoy those new--old clothes.  I think it is time I pulled some more stuff out from under the bed again!  Julia

Hey Kelly, congratulations on losing 60 lbs! No wonder you're feeling great! Next time you're at the store, look at what 60 lbs. worth of potatoes is and it'll blow you away, to imagine carrying around that much for 24 hours a day. You're looking great, and that's awesome about the reunion-good for you!
