Coos Bay Bariatric?????

Thank you everyone *****sponded...you are a great help. Now have another clinic in the research. Coos Bay...Haven't heard anyone say anything about them and can't seem to filter members by Doctors. Got their information...very thorough packet of material. Expense was not real clear, probably clearer in person. I am self paid. Anyone have experience with Coos Bay Bariatric clinic? Bay Bariatric... Dr Tersigni Just had my lap-band done there on the 25th.  They were great.  I was also a self pay and they were having a "special" sort of and the surgery was 10M with an additional $1100 in fees for them and the swallow test at the hospital.  Over all I believe we spent about $1200 on everything.  Surgery, gas, motel rooms (2x's at the The Mill Casino..great to walk around in after the surgery)...obviously no food included!  It is about 490 miles round trip from Milwaukie. Not too bad a drive down I5 then over on 38 along the river...real nice! I had surgery at Baybariatrics.com almost three years ago and know at least 10 people who have followed me.  I have been very happy with the service/care and over all support I have received from Dr. Tersingni' and staff.  He really tries to keep the cost down so those of us who are self pay can obtain our dreams too. good luck, email me if you have any questions. thanks, gail 

I also had surgery there on May 18th. I am in Portland so it is a bit of a drive but well worth it. Very goo staff and surgery was a breeze. Good luck. Chrissy Gail, the previous poster, hosts a support group in McMinnville that tries to meet each month and there are many Dr. T patients there.
