OBC support group; June 26

I was not able to attend this weeks support group. I know it was about Body Imaging. Who was able to attend? Any info on what they can do for arms? What will next months topic be on?

I was there.  The Dr. showed some slides of before and after pics of surgery's that he has done.  They can take the extra skin and tighten your arms but there is a scar that runs along the inside of your arms.  Mostly the scars looked pretty good and not really noticable unless you are looking right at it others were pretty obvious.  Next months topic is body image from Kathy. Hope that helps

Who was the plastic surgeon they had come to talk?  I'm starting to save my pennies in case I need the batwing lift, tummy tuck, etc.  I know I already need the boob lift! Dang, this aging thing is something else, isn't it? Linda

Hey Luna, You missed a very good meeting!  I really liked the Dr, very personable, not preachy like he was out to get more business. He deals alot with accident victims & victims of burns.  He also seems to do very good work with surgery after weight loss.   As Tara said, there were several before & after photos of men & women of all shapes & sizes. As for scars....we all have them now, a few more won't make a whole lot of difference.
