I have a question about caffeine and bloodsugars.. I had a ff sf caramel latte this afternoon and about 60 to 90 minutes later was feeling strange. I took my bloodsugar and it was 54. Does the caffeine lower your bloodsugar? I always think that the milk will make me feel full but I soon feel like I need to eat something shortly after drinking these drinks. Can someone please explain it to me.  thanks   Susan

Susan - I don't know the answer to your question.  I've just always steered clear of these things.  If I want coffee, I want plain old coffee with a wee bit of cream in it.  It is just my opinion, but I'm on steroids for a back injury this week, so watch out. I see so many questions about these drinks and what people will go through to get them on weight loss boards.  I really think, even though they are said to be sugar-free, fat-free, etc., that they are one of the big contributors to obesity in today's society.  Again, just my opinion.  I'd just stay away from them, especially if they seem to have that effect on your blood sugar.
