Someone in the Medford Area to talk to
Thanks for your reply...Reading some of the problems some are having makes me wonder if this happens to everyone? Will I be one of the problematic ones? Some of the concerns seem to do with nutrition...Doesn't the program come with a nutritionist follow up? I would think periodically questions would arise. The affects of this surgery are life long.
How do you handle eating at a restaurant and traveling?
Hey there! Got home from the hospital last night. No complications. A bit tired and sore, but I expected that. Leilani is right. Best to just get up and walk as often as possible. Trying to get in all of the liquids. I did only water the first two days, but got to try some chicken broth (amazing, but it was like a gourmet meal after all of the water), the sugar free popsicle also helped make my day. A bit of diarrhea today... but nothing too out of control. I can't wait to get these staples out next week. I am so glad you are going to one of Mirande's seminars. He will answer any and all questions you have. He's great. Take care. Leslie
Welcome home.
My eyes have healed enough for me to see the screen. Hooray!!!
Getting more information.
What did Dr. Mirande say about fills. I have been reading about adjusting the band 4 to 6 weeks after surgery.
Did you have to stay in the hospital? Coos Bay does outpatient.
The sugar free stuff gives me diarrhea. At least a pint of sugar free ice cream kept me up all night. Maybe excess could be my problem.
Keep posted on your progress and when I come to Klamath Falls, may I come visit you? sometime in the future.
