Dr. Hong gone from Legacy????

I saw on another post that Dr. Hong has left Legacy.  Does anyone know why or where he went?  He's the doctor who led the seminar on WLS that I went to.  I REALLY liked him and hoped to have him for my surgeon eventually.

Hi Nola! Yes, Dr. Hong left ... he went back to Canada because his wife works there.  I'm really disappointed how it was handled ... I didn't even find out until I arrived at my appointment with him and they said "Oh yeah, Dr. Hong isn't here anymore".    He was a great surgeon and I was proud to have him perform my surgery.  I'm sure he will be missed here! I'm sorry to know he's not there.  I still went to him for follow-ups and I just adore him!  I guess family  decisions had to be made.  I received a letter from him letting patients know of his plans to move back to Canada. I have great confidence in any doctor who Emma Patterson has in the practice.  You will get great care.  Patty
