4 days until surgery

omg cant believe it my nerves are running wild my mood is not so good anyone lose weight off the lap band? what if i don't?

It's designed to help you lose weight Leilani!  Of course you will.  From what I've seen from other gals here, it takes a bit longer than the weight loss with RNY because you have to wait till you've had a couple of fills to get much restriction.  I'm sure it will be just as effective in the long run though.  Perhaps some others who have had the band will jump in here and let you know for sure.  For now, just hang onto the excitement.  You'll be fine!
