Oh, I feel your pain! Two years ago I was sitting in a coffee shop and my chair literally fell through the floor. The leg of the chair was on a weak knot in the old wood, and I thought I would die, I was so embarrassed. When I landed on the floor everyone there stood up to stare and to see if I was OK. I heaved myself up and, despite my bruises, made a joke and laughed it off. Ugh.They had to rope off the section and replace the whole section of floor.

That's what I would call a real "bummer"!!!  I am so sorry you experienced such a painful moment, both physically and emotionally.  Someday you will be able to look back on this and smile. Best of luck with the band!! Joy

...And then the day came, when remaining tight in a bud was more painful than allowing myself to bloom.

HIJACK! Hey Miss Joy, long time no see.  Thought you had maybe flown the coup.  How was your appt w/ Dr. H?  EM me and let me know! Yesterday I took a gal from Willamina down to Kim's BBQ in Springfield.  It was great meeting so many others from these boards.  Think I'll have a BBQ here in August and try to get the Northerners and the Southerners all together on my acre of land w/ volleyball set up and crocquet as well.  My watermelon and canteloupe should be ready for harvest by then as well!!! Later chickie! Trisha

I hear ya!  I tripped and fell backwards onto my lawnmower engine last Friday.  Had to have xrays yesterday to check for a compression fracture.  I am in mucho pain!   I hope you start to feel better soon.  Ice works wonders -- at least temporarily. Linda

We can all relate. I am know for breaking toilet seats! What is up with that! My ex husband used to make fun of me calling me the toilet seat distructor. he was such an ass  we had to buy heavy duty seats so they would not crack and then pinch everyones butt!!

Awww, Brian, I'm sorry. I remember always being worried that I would break a chair or something.  I had plenty of hurtful moments, but none of them involved a chair.  Even to this day I see a booth at a resturant and cringe before realizing it won't be a problem. I hope that you will be able to be "banded" soon!! Trisha

I HATE those fake chairs!  And I hate breaking the toilet seat, too! A few months back I broke two toilet seats and something else.  I can't even remember.  And I've been banded 20 months, lol! Lori
