When are the Kaiser support group meetings in Portland?

just curious what the dates are - in June - I think the Town Hall one is the closest to me (I'm in Raleigh Hills). By the way, anyone have advice for me in get Kaiser moving a bit?  I just waited over 2 weeks for a call back to even schedule an appointment.  Had my appointment on Tuesday and was told that I need to wait for the group to meet to decide if I'm ready to meet with a surgeon, but they don't meet until the 4th Tuesday in June!  I'm feeling a little frustrated that I'm doing everything they are asking of me but the wait is all on their end.  I'm a teacher and I really need the surgery during the summer or I will have to wait a full year again...... suggestions?

The Kaiser support group meetings are held on the last Saturday of the month at the new Sunnybrook bldg, right next to Kaiser Sunnyside conference room F.  It takes awhile to get thru the process.  It took me 18 months all together, from orientation to surgery.  Have you taken the 12 week freedom from diet class yet?  If not, they require it.  Feel free to e-mail me anytime, Peggy

The next meeting that is at Town Hall is on June 12th.  The town hall meetings are always the 2nd tuesday of the month.  How long have you been in the process?
