Three months out and already a WOW moment

Well I have made to the 3 month point...hooray!!! I have lost 56 pounds since the surgery and  26 pre surgery for a total of 82 big ones!!  I can't believe I am almost to 100 down.... And that I have only 66 to go.  It is funny because when you work in a hospital and you all wear the same scrubs you know what size everyone wears because of the color of ties on the front.  I was thrilled when I went down a couple of scrub sizes for the first time!!!  Now instead of wearing a 3XL I wear an XL....which means red ties on the pants that everyone can see!!! I love it!! I walk down the hall and see others that wear this size scrubs and think to myself "Wow, do I really wear the same size as they do?"  In scrubs yes  (they fit like PJ's!!)  Also, I am a "tucker"!   I have tucked in my shirt for the first time in years....weird!  But I feel great and I am ready to venture on to the next size down....Thank God and great surgeons!

I am so happy for you. That is great. I haven't tucked my shirt in since highschool. Wow I am going to add that to my list of things to look forward to.  Take care! Carrie

Congrats Debra!  It is so amazing when all of a suddent you realize your clothing is falling off of you.  I wonder what the next "color" is....that too is pretty cool! I've just had a similar experience, but in a different way.  I had a pannicula TT (removal of the apron like pannus stomach after major weight loss).  I was a size 12 through the hips and now am a size 8.  It made THAT much difference to have 11 lbs of skin removed from that area.  I actually had a pair of pants fall off of me while walking. There are SO many wonderful WOW moments ahead for you.  Cherish each and every one of them for they are all very special--just like you! Trisha

Hammock There are good things to be said about recouperation in the summer......
