Darla, so glad you are home and doing well.  I don't know about you but if this happens to me I hope it waits 60 years cause I won't be around any longer! It is a good lesson for all of us to listen to our bodies and make sure we are advocates for ourselves.  I had an infection after surgery, started where the drain I had in was and then just kept coming back.  Antitiotics would help but 4 days after stopping them the pain was back.  My surgeon was great, order CT Scans etc. and put me on liquid antibiotics which should have worked  (I saw the culture report) but never quite finished it off.  I finally told him I wanted to try Levaquin, more powerful and that worked.  After 3 months it was finally gone.  I sure worried that 4th day after finishing that one though.  They had thought I had a leak in the hospital but decided it was not---so when this came up I was sure they were wrong, but no leak thank goodness.  Hang in there and try to enjoy you time off.
