Darla P Back at Sacred Heart Today

Hello all, Darla Putnam left work yesterday afternoon with severe pain in her left side that lasted for more than 4 hours.  She called the OBC and they said to come in and get checked out.  She called me this morning from Sacred Heart.  She is doing OK this morning.  Dr. Gorrin & Umbach did a CAT scan on her abdomen area yesterday and found a blockage in her intestinal tract.  They unfortunately will operate today.   She asked me to relay the news.  I dont know the time of surgery today, but I am sure she will be there at least till tomorrow.   Take care.  Lisa

Darla is now out of surgery.  all went well.  will post more tomorrow after we know exactly what went wrong.   Lisa

Oh my! How scary! I hope it gets taken care of quickly and she heals smoothly.  Tell her I'm thinking of her and sending my good wishes.
