Problems,keep coming

Hi every one ,sorry I haven't been on for awhile .I have been ill, mainly from all the antibiotics. I had to try 3 times of antibotics for 2 weeks and the last 2 weeks were stronger meds . This was for the H Pylori Bateria. The Doc called and said it is gone now -----Thank goodness,however, now I have infection in my salivalary glands and and I look Like a chipmonk with the mumps. I am taking pennicillan for 10 days, and have an appt with the ear ,nose throat Doc on Monday. When I was younger ,about 30, I was diegnosed with Sjograns Sydrom, and this may be from that . I was told there is alot of cancer that starts in those glands also, and will be getting a biopsi too. I hope this doesn't stop my surgery . I have the consult on the 31st with Dr Patterson at Lagacy.Thanks for listening to my problems. I sure wanted to got to Kims ,but was too sick .I missed seeing all of you. Jo Ann

Aw Jo Ann - I'm so sorry you've been so sick. I hope you're on the mend now and that this won't slow down your surgery date. I had a problem with my salivary glands once and the doc recommended I have orange juice or something to keep them working overtime to pump the extra fluid out. I wonder if that will help you? Hang in there and keep us posted on how you are doing! Linda

Thank you Linda I will try your idea, maybe it will take the presssure down. The Penicellin doesn't seem to be doing anything and this is the 3rd day. I hope, I hope. Jo Ann

Hi Joann Sorry to hear you have beem sick I was wondering where you were. i have been suffering with allergies and sinus infections. So have been on antibiotics seems like nothing is working.My prayers and thoughts are with you. I'll try to give you a call later. Judy

I'm sorry to hear you have been having such a hard time. It's no fun being on antibiotics like that back-to-back. Let us know how the biopsy goes and your consult on the 31st. Here's hoping the surgery will still be on.
