Got a call with projected surgery date!!

Well I seen the psychologist and dietician today and have my sleep study done tonight. Kathy called and told me that I will probably have surgery on June 27th!! WOOHOO So far everything has been just going really fast. It hasnt even been a month since I started everything..I am soooo happy that everything is falling in place so easily. I really wanted to know when are the support meetings?? I would love to meet you all and talk about experiences and such. I am such a big wiener when it comes to pain...I have never had surgery...well when I was 5 I had my tonsils taken out...but thats it for me...so I am a bit freaked out about this whole surgery thing. Please reassure me that its not that painful!! HAHA ya right huh?? Well thanks for letting me ramble Christina in Harrisburg

Christina, First congratulations! Second.. it is kind of painful.. but that doesnt last too long and they give you good drugs!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our support group through Oregon Bariatric center is Tuesday the 22nd of May I think at 5:30. This months topic is emotional eating! Should be a great one!!! We would love to meet you as well and Kim will usually post when we have our other support meeting that is not through the Oregon Bariatric Center so anyone can come.
