Upcoming Interview with KEZI

Hi Kim, I think it is a wonderful idea! I just love this website. the people are so nice and i really appreciate all the helpful advice ive received from different people.I really think people out there, should know how this surgery affects a person , physicially and emotionally. We really go thru alot of ups and downs , speaking about myself. this surgery affects alot of aspects of our lives and its so wonderful to be able to communicate with each other, and help each other out. I wouldn't mind volunteering but I don't know if I'd be a good candidate or not because: 1) I am a lightweight and just hit goal at 5 1/2 months out. 2) As far as support, you and I have never met. But then the again, with you being in Eugene, and me in Portland, I could talk about the support group that meets up here for breakfast. And how we know each other from here, etc. Let me know what you think. I think it may be better if you got someone who maybe wasn't at goal yet. Just my 2 cents. Let me know.

Hi Kim, Actually, maybe that would work .... we haven't met but we have chatted on-line and supported each other that way, so if you want to come down I am sure we could work something out. I really want to be sure OH gets a plug so maybe having someone who is "out of town" come down to show how we connect, that would work great. Let me know what you think. Shoot me a PM and let me know what you think. We could even maybe do an evening interview if 11 am on Monday doesn't work. The only evening that Korenza is busy is Tuesday evening, so if we need to do an evening interview, maybe we could do Monday or Wednesday. Also, she is on the air for the evening news between 5 and 6:30 pm, so that is why I was thinking maybe 7 pm if need be.

That would be cool to see the three of you. It would really demonstrate how far-reaching this board is if Kim were to come down too. What fun. I'll keep an eye out for the segment! Linda

No problem, Darla. It will either be on Monday or Wednesday evening between 7 and 8. I will let everyone know when the time is set.

Hey Kim, I think that is a great idea having someone from your support group and I'm glad you are linking it w/ OH. You have done a marvelous service to many out there in your community!!! Trisha

Awww, thanks, Trish. I agree, OH is such a wonderful site and I am happy to "plug" them every chance I get. I did an interview for the Register Guard today as well and also plugged OH there. How are you healing up from the plastics?
