For those of us waiting to have surgery!

One of the things that I am really looking forward to, after the weight loss is to wear my wedding ring again. It got so tight that I couldnt' wear it any longer. I am also really looking forward to getting down on the floor and playing with my grandkids, and then being able to get off the floor without feeling like I can't get up! Finally, I am looking forward to wearing clothes at are something other than black or navy blue. What are you all excited about or looking forward to after weight loss??? Just curious - Gayla

LOL Gayla - I'm actually looking forward to being able to get my rings OFF! I have a gorgeous ring on my right hand that has become dulled because I can't get it off to clean it properly. The setting is very closed, so I can't get under the stone to clean soap residue, etc. off it. I have finally gotten to the point, with my pre-op weight loss, that they don't feel like they are going to lop my fingers off anymore! Linda

Wow I can think of so many things I look forward to. Going to a restraunt and fitting in the booths. Going on bike rides with my children. I am looking forward to clothes shopping being a fun experience not a depressing one. One thing I have always wanted to do is skydive! I will hopefully have my surgery in June (RNY) and look forward to leaving the extra weight. Take care, Carrie
