9 weeks out and a Costco trip

Well, I had a good laugh today when I was shopping for some protein and crystal light at costco today.... I have been trying to be brave and eat a few things that I have not tried since surgery. So.....I walked through costco and tried a couple of the low fat samples of food that they had out and a two bite sample of potato salad that had no added sugar and a 1/4 of the low fat chicken burrito (I didn't eat too much of the tortilla though) and I was full. I thought "That is about the best free buffet I have ever had!!! And I am full!!" I giggled and giggled all the way out the door....I will have to have a big protein shake tonight though because I am sure that there was only a few grams in my lunchtime meal!!! It was funny though.....

This is a hysterical thread! My husband will love the fact that we can go to the costco buffet! LOL! It will the be the cheapest date we have ever had....well, except that I love to buy books, the video's and the "featured" items that they have at Costco....plus, in a year or so, I might actually be able to buy clothes there! Won't that be a treat...dinner and closthes, for cheaper than going out to dinner in years past! Gayla
