I AM APPROVED & HAVE A DATE!!!!!

I got a call on my lunch hour that I am approved for surgery. I will be having it on June 29th with Dr. Deveney at OHSU. I can hardly stand it, I am so excited!

Julia - are you kidding? LOL - my date, Andrea is May 23rd, and I think Julia means that the time will go fast for her....but for me is it just dragging!~ I am trying to keep my hands, mind and mouth busy and not thinking of food. I've spent tons of time here on OH reading and researching. I am so excited for the date to finally arrive...but it's dragging....for me and maybe for you too....but that Julia girl, time is going by really fast.....LOL, she's in a unique time zone called AFTER SURGERY! LOL....gotta love her though! Thanks Julia, for letting me laugh a litle about this! Gayla

O.K. Guyla and Andrea---Sorry, I guess I should have said--Oh that is a long way off and time will drag on and on! Waiting is hard. I guess I am not an expert because I found out on a Friday that my surgery would be done the next Monday if I wanted to do that. Guess what I said---YES. So it was quick and great I didn't have to wait so long. Of course the time leading up to that felt like forever, but really wasn't that long either, compared to some. I just felt that fighting with the insurance and then getting everything done they wanted done, seemed to take forever. So hang in there, you time will be here! Julia

I am in your support group and am happy that you have a date. I have to lose weight before my date, so I know how exciting it must be to actually have a date. Plus sometimes we have to coordinate kids, jobs,ect. and it seems you have it worked out, so good for you. Best Wishes, Heather
