Looking for an Oregon surgeon

Thanks for the info. I have an appt with Dr. Tersigni on the 16th. Your picture is great. You look great and the fish are awesome. Do you mind if I ask how much weight you have lost? I'm very excited to meet with the doctor, he sounds like the doctor I had originally planned on having surgery with in Colorado.(he was always on fast forward) I wish I had that kind of energy, but he was sincere and loved what he does and you can tell. Hi Laura, I have lost a total of 110lbs since the surgery. My goal was 100lbs. My starting weight before surgery was 252. Best of luck to you! Jenn

Hi Laura: Since you are self pay, have you considered going out of the country? There are some excellent surgeons with far more experience than any of the Oregon surgeons out of the country and who charge much less. I also live in Portland and am having the DS with Dr. Marchesini in Brazil in July. My cost, INCLUDING travel expenses will come under $13,000. Dr. M has an excellent reputation and is highly regarded by well known surgeons in this country (the Rabkins, Dr. Husted, for example). Also, have you read about the DS surgery? Just want to make sure you know ALL your options. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to share what I know.
