Just a Trisha update...

Just wanted to give you all an update on recovery.... Dr. Hansen took out two of the JP drains yesterday. I walked around quite a bit yesterday and last night looked like I had swallowed a watermelon around my waist. Hmmm...maybe I'll hold off walking so much. I'm trying NOT to use so much pain med because it makes me so dang loopy and I'm loopy enough as it is, but I'm finding I can only go down to about 4 tabs of Percocet per day without really feeling the pain. I'm hoping by Sunday I'll be at 2-3 per day. Everything looks good. We WILL have to do a revision on the waist area. She had a problem with my old Gallbladder scar, but over all she was very pleased and so am I. I am seeing a slight reduction in swelling of the breasts. They are very pretty. OK, I'm off to bed early tonight. Hope to see many of you at breakfast on Sunday. Trisha

Hi Trisha, I'm so glad you are doing well! Don't skimp on the pain management-it's an important part of the healing process. Your body can't relax if it's in pain. I admire your courage to take the step of PS-I'm sure you will look and feel fabulous once you're healed!

Lisa, I'm happy with what has been done, but it's kind of like redecorating your house. You redo your kitchen and notice how shabby the living room looks so you do that and notice that the bathroom needs to be fixed too... I am scheduled for 2 stages. I thought my legs looked....ok, but now it's like....eeewwww! LOL. Arms are worse though. You coming to breakfast on Sunday? Would love to meet you!! Trisha
