Psych Eval done
Bill - Congrats!!! I found out I am not crazy either! - well, maybe a little crazy, but that just makes life more fun!
I found the rest of the steps to be very enlightening! I didn't know that I was in such poor health. I mean I knew I was completely out of shape and overweight (morbidly obese), but I didn't know that I was diabetic, had sleep apnea, lipedema, high blood pressure and asthma. How would I know I had those things if I never went to the doctor? I didn't want to go to the doctor, because he might tell me I was fat! STrange how I can live in denial for such a long time!
Best of luck with your journey!

Congratulations, hopefully that will be the last hoop to jump through. It should be all down hill from here.
How are you doing with the cpap machine? Hope your use to it by now.
I now have a date. June 8th up at OHSU. My meeting with the surgeon is May 7th.
I hope that you that your right behind me
Randy
That's great Bil. I guess if we didn't worry so much about the psych evaluation it would probably indicate a bit of a problem. Who likes to be scrutinized though? Not me! Getting that done is another piece of commitment towards getting surgery. In retrospect I don't think I could have not eventually gotten surgery once I had started doing the steps towards getting it. It would have been hard to go back to the state of denial I needed to not be miserable with my weight (which I was anyways).
Good luck to you. We are rooting you on!
