Hey all. I am almost 6 weeks post-op and have lost 36lbs! however... i feel like this past week i have really.... well stopped. a week and a half ago i was able to indroduce solid foods. my nutritionist pretty much turned me loose and told me to try anything (of course make smart decisions) but she couldn't tell me what would upset my stomach and what wouldn't. anyway... nothing has bothered me... bread and rice alike! i've been doing very well on what i'm eating, but perhaps i'm not eating enough?? any suggestions on how i can puch forward with the weight loss??

You two are so lucky!! Im getting ready to go into my 12th week and my stomach does not like rice or bread or chicken. My Dr told me, my diet was too light. I need to try some other foods. But so far, everything new ive tried, my stomach doesnt tolerate very well. Its just so frustrating! I would sure love and appreciate it if anyone has any new ideas for food, like more normal soft textured foods. Help! KathyS

You need to get your liquids of course, then you need to focus on getting lots of protein.70-100 grams a day. The protein will help you heal and just as important get that furnace of your buring up stored fat. Recognize that the carbs stop. They cause you to be hungry and don't help you feel satsified. You want to slow down the great progress you have made. 1s****er 2nd Protein 3rd Fruits & Vegetables Remember your vitamins too!!

This is all fantastic advice. Any other banders out there have any suggestions on what I can eat, or rather, a process that you go through on a daily basis to help you achieve the maximum weight loss?? HELP!
