Eugene area group

Anyone coming up with ideas, places or dates for this group to meet? Julia

Hi Julia, I have been out of state for a couple of weeks and got back day before yesterday. Just found out about the "change" in our group since my return. I've been trying to think but coming up with ZERO. My house is simply too small for the group. Nice to see you though. Darla

Darla, I wondered where you were! Hope you had a great time. Jo Ann mentioned a place called Ocean Sky resturant on Chambers and 17th that has a big round table she thought we could all get around. Maybe that would work if anyone is interested in meeting on the 29th. Hasn't seemed to be too much response on meeting. Congratulations on losing while on vacation. !/2 way there---awesome. Julia

Julia, Thank you. Did Jo Ann happen to mention the Ocean Sky idea to everyone somewhere? Perhaps I missed seeing it in the Forum. Hmmm, maybe people are getting busy with Spring and Summer upon us. Hope all is well with you. Darla

Darla, she put the Ocean Sky as an idea in a post here on the forum. Yes spring and summer keeps us busier---at least this year it will, compared to last year. I can acctually bend over now! Julia

I don't know if they have a seperate room, however ROBINSONS, which is now Countryside Pizza 463-7632 or something like that, is also on River Road-They serve all types of american quisine and pizza has a seperate room that holds between 20-25, nancy

Nancy, maybe we don't need a separate room. I would think, with enough of us, we could take over the restraunt with our chatter!!! Julia

The Deb's Restaraunt on Main St in Springfield has a back room that can accomodate 25-40 people and is available 3 Saturday mornings a month. They are very nice in there and the food is good.

I will try to make it anywhere it is set up. Who else is interested? Julia

That would be great because the group seems to be growing more and more. We also could use a place to do the clothing exchange too. I don't quite know how we'd do that other than in the back of my minivan like drug dealers.
