HELP PLEASE!! I was told by the nutritionist , who had been told by bariatric patients that this web sight had free samples of protein powder to try. She thought they sent you 4 or 5 samples. She could not find out nor could I where on that sight it says that or you can get them!!! Anyone else gotten samples from there?? If so please let me know how!! Thank you to all of you who are so quick to respond to my questions. I have completed my first hoops to jump through!! Now I need to start trying to loose the 5% I need to. I am being refered for my sleep study. Hopefully God willing I will be ready this summer. Rhonda

Rhonda - Just so you know - it may take you longer and it might not take you so long to get to the point you get to have the surgery. By the time I got done jumping all of the hoops it took me 9 months worth of appointments from the sleep doctor to the cardiologist. It was worth every day of those 9 months though, because I researched and studied and read everything I could get about bariatric surgery. I would say I am making a well informed decision to go on with the surgery. So, don't get discouraged if it takes longer than you expect to get to the place where you can have the surgery....enjoy the journey! My surgery is on April 23. Good luck! that site has great protein things for us, but the sample paks are not free. The only way to get free samples (I am aware of) is to go to their store in FL. I personally read the message board with that site and learned and asked questions before I ordered. My favorites so far are the Cookies & Cream and also the Whey Gourmet Peanut Butter Chocolate. Course I love the Micellar chocolate Milk and I am reading that the strawberry is really great too. Good Luck!

I tried them all and found them all icky. So I haven't had one in 2 years and I'm fine. Many doctors don't even want their patients drinking them. That site is one of many sites. Shop around. They don't have the best prices, either, according to some who post at OH (again, I don't "do" them) tee

I am glad that you feel good, but I know it is important to get 80+ grams of protein a day in (from food or drinks)and vitamin supplements designed for a WLS person. There are lots of wonderful protein drinks out there from Walmart to specialty stores. Good Luck with your journey!
