I thought I'm not supposed to be hungry?
Thanks Kelly, you know it funny but I have always loved tomato soup so I bought mostly all tomato for after surgery. Well, it didn't taste good to me yesterday when I tried it. I don't think I'm allowed pudding and applesauce yet, but I'm going to call the nutritionist tomorrow. I will try and be patient. I am very glad I was able to get this surgery and I know it will get better. Diane
I hear ya, Diane, about feeling hungry at times, or wanting something good to eat like a cheeseburger. I sure have my times too. Its like you just get tired after awhile, of eating the same ol things. Im into my 10th week. My Doctor, Dr. Jan, at GS hospital said i need to try some other foods, that my diet looks pretty light. Ive lost 55 pounds
so far. But so far, what little ive tried doesnt agree with my stomach, so, its pretty hard for me to find other things to eat. And when i see a commercial on tv with food, at times, it looks so good. Good Luck to ya! KathyS
Head hunger?
If you check out the special on Discovery (or was that PBS?) about obesity, the doctors who study obesity have found out that we don't know a lot about what hunger is, what causes obesity (it may not be eating too much!) and that there is a connection, physically, from digestive system to brain.
So, before you label something "head hunger" you might want to review your diet tio see whther your body is lacking a nutrient that is triggering your brain to make you hungry to fill the nutritional need.
