Insurance Turned Down

Well, my primary insurance turned down my WLS. Now we will try the secondary insurance. Even though I knew the primary was going to turn down the surgery, it is still disappointing. I just can't imagine that they want to pay for all the diabetes illness related stuff, plus the CPAP machine, the walker, wheelchair, heart meds, and surgeries that I will probably have to have if I don't figure out how to get some of this weight off! It's not that I want to take the easy way out, it is that I physically don't see anyway for this weight to come off since I can barely walk and have no energy to do anything. One sugery would cure a multitude of sins! I am frustrated for sure. The secondary insurance is Medicare, and even if they do approve the insurance, I am not sure I can afford the co-pay. Actually, I don't see how I can't afford it, because it would make my life so much happier and healthier. What to do, What to do. I just don't know. I just flat don't know what to do. I'm trying not to be down in the dumps about something that I already knew was going to happen. Am I just weird?

Kelly - I got a date! I can't believe it! The secondary insurance picked it up, and the co-pay isn't quite as bad as I was afraid it would be....Oh wow- I can't believe this!
