Yes, that is right--with my red hair I tell people I'm going to be "Chuckie" I'm having an anchor cut pannicula/TT with waist cinching, and breast reduction and lift. This is round one. The second phase will be the arms, legs and lower face lift plus corrections of any areas that didn't hear quite right the first time around ie: tags, etc. I'm vacillating between OMG It's finally happening, WTH am I doing and abject FEAR! Funny, I never felt this way about the RNY probably because I figured if I died on the table I didn't have a life anyway being a BMI of 56. Now....well, now is a completely different story. Yikes. Go Trisha, GO! I hope all your procedures come out just the way you want them to. I'm sure I'm going to need a breast lift (and perhaps slight augmentation), and I figure I'll need a tummy tuck too. God bless you and give you rapid healing! Linda

Oh, thank you Linda!!! I can't believe how nervous I'm getting about this....wasn't at all for the RNY. Nice thing is I will have a bit more time to be on the boards!!! Thanks for your support. Would love to meet you one of these days. Trisha

How exciting for you! I cant believe how our lives change throughout this process. Who would have thought that years ago before your RNY that you would be having all this PS! Congratulations and I will keep you in my prayers for a safe and successful surgery! Tara

Thank you Tara!! No I would never have imagined it a few years ago. I thought my life was pretty much over. I will be turning 54 soon and all of my "normal" girlfriends are just a tad envious that I'm getting the girls lifted and the tummy tucked, but then they all also realize I never have been normal in my life....so it is my turn. Thank you for your prayers. Trisha

Who is doing your surgery up there? I would like to hear more about your experience as it looks like I will be having PS sooner rather than later. I have two areas of my intestine that are too narrow and causing pain when I eat and they want to fix that and do the panniculectomy at the same time. Let me know how things go. Good luck!

Dr. Julia Hansen, OHSU 503-494-6687. She is one of only 3 top rated PS in Oregon and #1 in breast reconstruction. She is about mid 40's--perfect to be old enough to have a lot of experience and young enough to know the latest techniques. I have seen her work on others who have had WLS and she is just wonderful! Be sure to tell her that Trisha recommended you. (not that I "get" anything....THAT would be nice LOL--Hey, throw in an eyebrow lift for the referrals LOL) Trisha

Dr. Deveney is a wonderful doctor and he is terrific at doing the innards. He is not an artist or a plastic surgeon. Take it from me, a board certified plastic surgeon is the ONLY way to go. Julia Hansen has a wonderful reputation and so does a guy named Zegzula. He has a rotten attitude but is an artist. tee

Woo Hoo, Girlfriend! I am so excited for you. I am thinking of contacting your surgeon for an "estimate", myself. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help as you go through your recovery! BIG HUGS!!!! Joy
