Got my Date!

I can't believe I posted this on the main board I was so excited..I feel stupid but oh well LOL Just got the call from Tara that my surgeon is going to be dr Deveney on May 9th! I can't believe it. That is only 5 weeks away and time will just fly by I'm sure. I have my appt with him on the 9th and then the same day I have my pre-op hospital stuff to do. I can't because it. Its Easter, then my brothers bday then my grandpa is coming into town and then surgery! Busy month wow wow wow.. I'm sure the nerves will set in soon LOL. Thank you for letting me share all this with you guys I don't have anyone in my life that has been there or is going thought it. I have a lot of support just nice to share with other people in my situation! Rebecca

Congratluations! Dr. Deveney was my surgeon as well. He is a great doctor. Good luck with your surgery and keep us posted as the day draws nearer. Jill

That is so great!!! You are very smart and lucky to be able to do this at such a young age! I am 5 or so weeks out from my surgery at OHSU and I feel great!! It is so exciting....the whole process I mean.....I wake up darn near every morning and feel smaller!!! I am a nurse so I had INCREDIBLY high expectations for everyone when I had my surgery and they were all surpassed!!! You are in good hands there!!!
