Hi Kelly: The only way I can take the Niferex Gold is right before bed. With all the restrictions on the label about when you can take it, seems to work okay then. I have been using the Centrum Chewable Adult for my vitamin. Tried some liquid vitamin from GNC and it was awful. Jeanne

Can you swallow your vites? I take a prenatal vitamin daily (which isn't very large) and 3 calcium pills (which are a bit larger) and I can swallow them just fine. I am 4 months out and have been swallowing pills for at least 2 months. You can even break the tablets in half if they are too big.

Try a chewable calcium, I got mine from Costco...much easier to get down everyday! And since surgery I've been taking a children's vitamin..seems to work just fine. Best of luck. Andrea

Kelly, When Dr Patterson prescribed me the iron and Vit B supplements.....same thing happened. I actuall was foaming at the mouth. I wnet to Bariatric Advantage and ordered chewable iron and disolveable Vit B. Works great. www.bariatricadvantage.com Good Luck! Kristine (surgery Dec 13, 2006)

I haven't had the surgery, so really am not a good person to be giving advice, but can you crush them and take them with your protien drink? Just wondering.
