Has anyone here seen Dr. Fitzpatrick for fills?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone on this forum has seen Dr. Fitzpatrick for fills and aftercare after having LBS? I am planning on having surgery in Mexico, and was told she does fills and aftercare for patients banded there. Thanks, Judy

I haven't been to her because my dr. gives free fills for a year, but I know a lot of people that do go to her and really like her. May I ask why you are going to Mexico? Dr. Tersingi's prices are very close to what they charge in Mexico and he's a wonderful doctor!

That is good to know Denise about Dr. F. Thank you. I am going to Mexico because of two reasons. One is price, and the second is experience and care. I have read alot about Dr. Ortiz and he is highly qualified and experienced as a lap band surgeon. He has written a book, which I got yesterday and it is awesome and would help so many people having this surgery for before and after expectations. He has also performed over 4000 lap band surgeries. That is all he does and has even trained many US doctors. My insurance will not cover any kind of weight loss surgery and I am not going to jump through their hoops to get approved. Even if they did, there is not one bariatric surgeon near me that I like and would want to have surgey with. You are treated with much more caring and concern in Mexico from what I have read and heard. Everything I have read is far better in MExico than in the US.

I had the lap band put in by Dr. Rumbaut in Mexico in October, and I agree, the care and hospital stay were excellent. Much better than out patient treatment in my opinion. I see Dr. Fitzpatrict and she is a kick. My next fill is April 7, YES it's a Saturday! She is very good and easy to work with. Her prices are also very reasonable. I would definitly recommend her.
