The Last Hoop before Sugery
Well, I have finally jumped that last hoop - I had the sleep apnea test - and I do have sleep apnea, and will go in next week to be "fitted" for the oxygen machine or whatever it is called.
I have been working on drinking my protien drink, and still struggling with slowing down my eating, and not eating while I am in front of the television! We don't have a diningroom table, so eating on the sofa is what I do. I will be looking for a new table for the kitchen soon!
At this point, I find myself obsessing about the lipedema in my legs, and looking for more answers about if it will be effected by the surgery. I just can't wait to talk to a real bariatric doctor. I'm also looking for a therapist that does manual lymph drainage and a physician that lives here in Oregon that has any knowledge about lipedema!
If you know anyone - please send me a message!
I am tracking my Bariatric weight loss "thoughts" on my own website:

I will be leaving more messages here so that I can start meeting people who have had the surgery. I can't believe how much information I am getting from this website!
Gayla - contact Kim Goulart on this site. I believe there is a meeting in Springfield on Saturday (March 17th) for people who have had or who are planning to have surgery. It's a really fun gathering. I would go, but am spending the weekend at the coast. Maybe I'll see you there the next time.
