3 days post-op & feeling quite normal

hey everyone! i'm new to this whole message board thing, but i wanted to get going on this site to see if anyone has some immediate suggestions for me?? i had surgery this past friday (lap-band) and am feeling quite normal. in fact, i am typing this message at work! i would love to get some friends on here with some advice, share some "tricks of the trade" and hear about everyone's progress. so hello, again! i'm monica, and would love to chat with you all!

So, another bandster, huh? Who did your surgery? I had mine at Legacy Good Sam. Have you also checked out the lap band forum, itself? There's information there as well as a message board and chat room, too. I don't do chats, though. Lori

Hi Monica, I am 6 days out from having my LapBand surgery. I can't believe your docs let you go to work so soon!!! I am taking 2 weeks off. I can't go back to work or drive until my 2-week post op appointment. How are you with eating? Drinking? What type of work do you do? I work in Customer Service for GMAC auto loans. I & talk on the phone, but still can not go to work yet, as we all have gone through a major change in our lives & need this time to recover, learn to eat again, exercise, etc. I bounce back & forth from this site & the LapBand forum. I never go to the chat rooms, tried that in the beginning......no help at all!! On the LapBand forum, Wendell has a great post for newbies: top 100 questions asked. He repeats it often & it can be a great help!! Good luck on your journey!! Jackie
