OT... Laser eye surgery

Can anyone recommend a good laser eye surgeon for me? I want to have it done and really want someone I can trust with my eyes! Thanks! Joy

I had it done 2 1/2 years ago and love it. I can't recommend anyone in the Portland area as I had it done in Eugene. My daughter-in-law had it done in the Beaverton area last year. I will check with her on who did hers. She is so happy with it too. Only thing with mine, is that is does not correct for the old age thing of needing reading glasses, which I knew when I had it done. It is still worth it as I could not see to get out of bed at night to go to the bathroom, without putting on the glasses! Julia

I had my eyes done by Dr. Scott Cherne at the Pacific Clearvision Institute in Eugene. He is a wonderful doctor. I went from 20/1400 in one eye and 20/1600 in the other to 20/15 in both. Yes, I need reading glasses, but that's a given for being over 40 (which I am well over) I know other people who have had their eyes done elsewhere and they have not gotten such a good result. http://www.pcvi.com/index.php Linda

My sister had it done by a great Dr. (don't know his name...sorry) at EyeHealth Northwest about 5 years ago. She loves it!! I know they have offices in Milwaukie and Oregon City, but I'm not sure about any other locations. Good luck!

I had my laser surgery done last September by Will vision. They were awesome! They had some there to talk me through the whole proceedure while it was being done. It was a very good experience.
