I haven't heard anything. If I get a chance this morning, I might pop over there for a break to see how she is. I've got a meeting at lunchtime, so can't go then. Linda

Hey Jennifer, Thank you for asking about me, that was sweet of you. My surgery went great, although I was in recovery for a while (so they tell me), because I guess I wasn't breathing very well. When I got to my room & after napping for a while, I was up walking the halls. I rarely used my pain button (only for my back), no nausea & no relief of gas til later Wednesday evening......then it wouldn't stop! I seem to be unable to burp.....only one time so far. My cat won't leave me alone.......I think she can smell something different about me. Usually she only wants attention from me & when SHE wants it. Since I have been home, she is in my arms while I am typing (now), on my neck/shoulder or beside me in bed, sits on the toilet while I am showering, etc. It's weird, but I am loving the extra attention!!! The things that are hard for me right now are getting out of the recliner/couch & bed, as they are using alot of stomach muscles. Went for a walk before bed last night: nightgown, robe, coat & tennis shoes......what a site! Thank god it was dark out!!! Jackie

Welcome home! Breathing -- its overrated, isn't it?!? Burping will come. Then you'll wonder if you ever stop. And, hey, it may be wanting to go the other way, anyhow. It does get better -- each day has its own ups and downs... Take care, Lori

Congratulations! I'm glad your surgery went well. I think the nightgown, robe, coat, and tennis shoes makes a great fashion statement. I guess it was a good thing that Day Light Savings isn't until this weekend. Jennifer

Hi Jackie, I have not been on here in a good while and Nancy Frost came over to visit me today so we looked at your profile for a post..then Nancy suggested the Oregon Forum and here you are. She is on her way home right now and I"m taking the opportunity, before we head out for Sun River this evening, to type to you real quick and say CONGRATULATIONS to you and I'm glad you are home safe and sound.
