Lori, you are not quite 3 weeks out yet. It took me about 6 weeks to feel I had my energy back and I didn't add the flu on top of the surgery/anesthetic. Give it time. Of course I am old, that makes a difference too! Julia

O.K. Lori, so i looked at your profile and I am still older than you! I was 57 years old when I had my RNY 4-10-06. I have lost 131.5 pounds and feel great. I felt I did not lose inches as fast as some have but obviously it has been lost. Still have about 40 to 50 pounds more to go and it is slowing down but that is o.k. Hang in there as time will start to go by quickly and before you know it you will be wondering why you have to hit the clothing stores so much. By the way, where is Gates? Julia

Wow if you had surgery recently AND the flu, you have every right to be tired! Get your rest, give yourself a break. When you feel like it, go for short walks until you feel like going further. Your energy will eventually return. Just make sure you take your vitamins! Linda
