March Eugene/Springfield Group Meeting
Yes, I totally agree, Darla. I don't think we need to have food at every meeting either. Water is good and if someone wants/needs to bring a snack for themselves that is totally fine too.
Bunko does sound fun but I'm gonna need training.
I have an idea for next month ... you know how on The Biggest Loser they carry around their lost weight in a mesh bag or something of that nature? I think that would be fun if we tallied up what each of us has lost and bring that in say a backpack and carry it around in a race of some sort for prizes. That could be fun!!
Hi Kim, Bunko is a blast but it's been quite some time since I played. I need a refresher myself but it will come back to me quickly. I know that 4 people per table and it's played with only dice and score cards (made up score cards) so very little is needed to play.
I have never watched the biggest loser but your idea does sound fun!
Darla
WELL Kim, I am at a new born baby Giraffe plus 1/2 of a Guinea Pig---don't think I can carry that!.
But then again not long ago, I did, didn't I! Wow.
Julia

It surfaces again .... lol
I am now down an Irish Setter, 2 dozen crispy creams, and a rack of baby back ribs. (75 pounds)
A baby Giraffe!! Wow, Julia. That is great. Isn't it sad the amount of weight we carried around. If you cannot carry the whole baby, maybe we will give you 1/2 or 3/4 of it. lol

Wonderful, Randy. I hope to see you and Bobbie. Sorry we didn't make water aerobics this week. I am hoping very much to be back next week. My hubby had a procedure and could not swim for a couple of weeks and I won't go alone. I am a baby when it comes to that. lol
Did you guys go? Did you enjoy it?
