Yes, it has been verified that I have sleep apnea, so I have to go back for a second study with the cpap machine. You can bet I'll have to check out the devil's spawn noise too!

I'm sorry to hear that but hopefully you will get right back off of the noisemaker after surgery. Good luck to you.

It's always good to find out when something is going on. You'll feel so much better when you aren't waking up a million times in your sleep! I can't say I was the most compliant wearer of the C-pap. I always called my C-crap machine. Towards the end though my family pretty much made me wear it. When we went to Seattle for the weekend I said "oh I'm not going to pack this thing" and my family knowing all five of us would be in one room said "bring it"! Now I don't need it anymore. Patty

ROFLOL!! The 2nd one isn't as bad as the first because of the CPAP. They will still have all the wires hooked up to you, but I didn't worry about them as much the 2nd time as the first time. Hope your study goes well!! Bil

Glad to hear that you at least have a result. Knowing is always better than not knowing. Good luck with the second study!

Thank you all! I am SO looking forward to a better night's sleep. My study results were interesting. I have insomnia as well as sleep apnea, so my overall results for the night were mild. However, when I enter REM sleep, which was for only a little over an hour for the night, I stop breathing at a rate of 53 times an hour and my oxygen dips to about 80! NOT good. It will be nice to be able to dream without worrying about not waking up. Linda
