Who's had a DS procedure?

I am looking forwrd to surgery Mar. 30th and am wondering if there are any others out there that have had DS surgery....only one person replied when I asked a similar question before. I am having Dr. Deveny do the work....

Low, Never met Dr. Deveny, but really like their practice... I had Dr. O'Rourke from there. I was tempted by DS, but chickened out and went RNY... but I do know you are in good hands with them I think one of the people *****cently had surgery had DS, read backwards about a week, it's someone who just got out of the hospital a few weeks ago... sorry my brain can't recall who :P Michele

I am so excited that you are having your DS! Yipee!!!! It is the best thing you will ever do for yourself. Please, please, please post and introduce yourself on the DS board. You will get tons, upon tons of support and info over there. It will be a lifeline for you during your recovery and adjustment phase.
