Roseburg Area?

Anyone out there from the Roseburg area? I just moved out here a little under a year ago from michigan.I just recently got married and my hubby and i both had wls. I was just looking to chat with anyone wanting to chat. I have a whole lot of changes with wls and was wondering if anyone would like to chat?

Hi Sandra, I live in Roseburg. I had my RNY on 4-10-07 and have lost 124 pounds. This surgery has been a life saver I am sure. Would you and your husband be interested in attending a support group meeting? We have one on the 4th Wednesday of each month at Mercy Medical Center Cafeteria at 7 p.m. This month the meeting is on the 28th. They are fairly informal and last about an hour. Would love to meet you guys. Julia

Julia Do we have to pre-register for the support group?We would love to go.I had my surgery in michigan and my husband had his in coos bay and we reallly need a support group close to us as michigan is way to far away,lol and coos bay is even a little of a drive.Please let me know as we would love to come.

Sandra, No need to register, just come on in and join us. Like I said it is informal and people are at different stages of the game. Some are pre-op, others are 3 to 4 years out and others less than one year out. Please come on the 28th. Julia
